Welcome

The Board of Visitors (BOV) is made up of dedicated volunteers appointed by the ECU Board of Trustees. It is an honor for all members of the Board of Visitors to serve East Carolina University in working with every sector of the University and its Alumni.

Working at the direction of the Chancellor, we promote ECU in a very positive manner with members of the NC General Assembly, Council of State, business entities, community leaders and citizens throughout North Carolina. The Board provides suggestions and feedback to the ECU leadership. We strive to ensure that our University receives the respect that is deserved as we continue to provide a meaningful education to our students. The Board is compelled to do its part in making ECU a great educational opportunity for students from all walks of life.
